Asian support for Mylie would be huge if he can convince that bloc that his policies are also supportive of their goals. Hopefully, he can list a few local influential Asians early on.
I certainly got the impression that Myrie was trying to court Asian voters back in 2018! (Shallowly - but notably! - he's had his username written in Chinese characters on Twitter for ages.)
But also, he's notably a black Brooklyn Tech grad, which puts him in a unique position when it comes to the SHSAT, which as Ross notes is one of the most salient issues if you're trying to woo Asian voters in particular.
My only quibble with this analysis is Mylie's potential among working class black voters, particularly women. Working class households overwhelmingly depend upon two incomes and these women are desperate for childcare.--the cost of which can eat up more than half of their take home. Add taxes and why bother to work at all? They may not bolt from Adams for an Asian or Caucasian on this issue but Mylie might be (like Obama) "black enough" to make a real dent in Adams' base. HRC found out the hard way black women aren't as locked up as she thought.
Mylie needs to spotlight this issue along with slashing public libraries-- another essential to the community. Polish your shoes and get yourself to church every Sunday for the next 18 months, Zellnor.

He had to court Asians because the SD was badly gerrymandered then and included a section of Sunset Park it has since shed
I heard Zellnor Myrie speak at a rally in Brooklyn's Grand Army Plaza in the Black Lives Matter period in 2020. He was quite impressive.
Anything to rid NYC of Eric Adams

Excellent point.
You never saw me run to Act Blue so fast. I want to do my bit to show that Adams can be beat!
I would look out for Cuomo if he runs.
