No, nobody knows. deBlasio did him some favors by making some unpopular but necessary decisions like vaccine mandates and bring the City workforce back full time but deferred some unpopular choices he should have made such as what to do with the BQE. That one is going to be ugly. As with many mayors, job #1 will be NYPD. NYPD turned their back on deBlasio almost immediately and I suspect they will do the same to Adams. He needs to get a handle on them quickly and establish that he is in charge, and that NYPD works for the citizens of NYC, not the other way around. Good luck with that
