I've never given much thought to Scott Stringer one way or the other. But I do have to say that it increasingly appears that one allegation of sexual misconduct is sufficient to torpedo the campaign of any left-of-center Democrat. In the meantime, notwithstanding multiple accusations of sexual misconduct against Governor Cuomo and many calls for his resignation, to the best of my knowledge no one has announced a campaign against Cuomo in the 2022 primary.

This is most unfortunate timing (or is it?). I am a woman who expierenced phyiscal sexual harrassment. Kim's story is not credible. Also important, no one else came forward. Her timing strongly suggests there was political motivation behind it. Those groups that withdrew their endorsement acted prematurely. I am quite tired of knee jerk "listen to the woman" which requires that no investigation, let alone reasonable questions can be asked. Maya Wiley has been the worst and she lost me vote.
