Chipper Jones is better than Ichiro? Really? Furious as a Japanese-American Mets fan.

If Ichiro only played in the MLB, he would have had a hitting record higher than Pete Rose.

cobb played at time hornsby, so many others hit over .350

on all these lists...why is ty cobb number 10 and ichiro 99,...comparing eras they played in, they were very similar but ichiro did it when he was older, was also great fielder etc

Because Cobb was, by far, the best player of his time and Ichiro wasn't. I love Ichiro. But Cobb, before Ruth, was regarded as the game's best. The amount of times he led the league in various offensive categories is staggering.
