Do you get paid by the word for Political Currents? If not, you could certainly edit your word count. So many words about yourself are not necessary. I say this as a fan of your political commentary and also as someone sympathetic to writers who have to make a living. But, whether you are getting paid by the word or not, a writer's financial needs are never a good excuse for lack of self-editing.

Although I’m still new to Substack (just nearly a year now), it’s been a thrill to put a lot of research and effort into crafting a story. Tbh, the only way for someone to learn how to write is by writing more.
